Petroruss-Inc – Magical Orb With Unlimited Powers

There has been much talk lately of Petroruss-inc, the company behind the world alliance of magicians, since they recently announced that they had in their possession a magical orb with unlimited powers. Petroruss-inc has long been the source of hype and controversy and this new round of media attention is nothing new.

Founded by Peter Ruston, a good friend of the Incredible Bending Man in 1965, Petroruss-inc began as a talent agency intended to represent circus entertainers around the United States. In the beginning, only circus magicians joined the company, and the sole purpose of the agency was to enable magicians to come together to share secrets and hone their skills, and to move from circus to circus, wherever the agency found the pay and benefits to be more beneficial to the magician. Before long, word got out about Petroruss-inc to independent magicians and they began seeking out Peter Ruston for representation in hotel lounge acts, casino entertainment parlors and the like.

By the early 1980′s, Petroruss-inc became a full service magician’s agency, providing a magician’s union, a magician’s retreat, workshops and even opened several retail outlets for magician’s kits and props available not only to the magicians represented by the agency, but to the general public as well.
